Shipping/Receiving Inspector - Temp-to-Hire
Pay Range $21 - $26/hour.
Regular hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm.
We are currently offering a limited amount of overtime, including hours on Saturday.
We would like candidates to have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a quality/manufacturing environment.
Summary/Objective
The Shipping/Receiving Inspector receives product in and ships product out. This role may also inspect incoming product and components in compliance with applicable drawing and Purchase Order requirements
Essential Functions

1. Receives product from suppliers and others into the Company system.
2. Inspects received parts, subassemblies, components, and materials for conformance to standards.
3. Completes applicable paperwork and/or data entry containing information about received and shipped products including inspection records.
4. Package and prepare finished product for shipping via UPS, FedEx, etc.
5. Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the AMC Quality System.
6. Maintains safety standards throughout areas of responsibility.
7. Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate quality functions.
Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school, some college or specialized training is preferred.
2. Three years of related experience in Quality Assurance/Control and Shipping/Receiving.
3. Experience in visual and dimensional inspection. Must understand AQL sampling methods, GD & T/basic blueprint and schematic reading.
4. Experience with use of micrometers, calipers and related calibration tools required.
5. Ability to keep accurate and detail records.
6. Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
7. Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001: 2015 regulations.
8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required).
9. Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
10. Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule.
